Go Ye Village, a Christ focused 55+ community, is looking for an outgoing, courteous, safety-minded CNA for our senior residents.
We are looking for someone who can provide outstanding patient care and physical support on a daily basis.
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide compassionate care and assistance with many daily living needs for patients. The ideal candidate will spend time interacting directly with patients, monitoring their vital signs, and assisting when necessary and will relate well as an advocate for residents through conversation and interaction to improve the resident’s experience while at our facilities.
Your daily shift will involve assisting with daily living activities to make sure the patient is taken care of. This includes turning and ambulating patients. Delivering food and beverages to patients throughout the day and closely monitor and record the food and liquid intake to be shared with key medical and nursing staff. You will help patients with personal hygiene. Answering resident calls promptly. You will check vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate. Clean rooms and bed linens, and stock supplies.
As a CNA, you will be required to document and process a wide range of information from other professionals and work with physicians, caregivers, and nurses.
Must be safety minded and follow all safety procedures.
Must have the ability to think and work independently, with direction from a team leader or manager, while maintaining efficient and consistent communications at all times.
Must also have excellent oral communication skills when speaking with other health professionals in the presence of patients (i.e. “bedside manner”).
Can endure high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and keep a calm, professional demeanor throughout.
Must have a high school diploma/GED or higher
Must be 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a back ground check.
State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification Required
Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
