Residents of Go Ye Village relish in having a home base located in Tahlequah and often comment on the beautiful and welcoming scenery as they return from travels outside of the state. Their families love visiting the area and, while they’re here, they can enjoy floating the Illinois River, swimming, fishing and boating in Lake Tenkiller, playing golf on one of several courses around the region, and learning of the history of the Cherokees which dates back to the 1800’s long before “statehood.”

Within the campus of Go Ye Village, Residents enjoy living in a Christian atmosphere among others who have given their life to service for the Lord in a variety of ways. In the book of 1 Corinthians 12: 5 (NAS) it is written: “And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord.” There are those residents who have chosen to make their home in the Village who have served as missionaries overseas, or with-in the states. Some have been Pastors and Pastor's wives, Professors and Teachers in Christian ministries, or even taught with Christian principles in public and secular environments. They’ve been (and some still are) Elders and leaders in their Church communities, Sunday school teachers, and the list goes on. The point is, they are dedicated believers in the Lord who have found a home together here in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at Go Ye Village.

We invite you to make prayerful consideration of Go Ye Village and open your hearts to see if this is where the Lord is leading you to come. Over a thousand others have been led to choose to relocate to what many consider to be God’s country right here in Northeast Oklahoma. Go Ye Village was dedicated over 33 years ago when it first welcomed residents in April of ‘76 as the Lord's place. Indeed, it is, and we continue to look to the Lord for his guidance and direction as we fulfill his ministry to serve an aging population.
